Where it all began...
In 2016, Mike Williams laid the foundation of our journey as a management consultancy, initially specialising in placing ex-forces IT project managers into client projects. The venture was ambitious, but it quickly became evident that a broader approach was needed to fulfil our mission.
In 2017, Keeley Anthony joined as Recruitment Manager, driving our expansion into permanent roles across diverse sectors. Her efforts highlighted the immense potential of military talent and helped us extend our reach to support the entire military community – including veterans, service leavers, reservists, military spouses/partners, and CFAV’s.
When the pandemic struck in 2021, it brought unexpected challenges. Clients began prioritising temporary roles and placed greater emphasis on diversity and inclusion. We adapted swiftly, evolving our services to align with these new priorities while embracing a broader, more inclusive approach to talent. Through it all, our mission remained steadfast—connecting exceptional individuals with opportunities that value their unique skills and diverse perspectives.
The name ‘One Way or Another’ was inspired by our unwavering commitment: one way or another, we will ensure the military community finds meaningful work and equal representation in the workplace.

What began as a small consultancy driven by Mike Williams' vision has now flourished into a dynamic, inclusive team committed to making a lasting impact.
